The City University of New York (CUNY) New York, NY June 2002-January 2006
Senior Graphic & Web Designer
• Developed web user interfaces for the CUNY Portal as well as external websites, such as CUNY’s online
application, CUNY’s online financial aid, the CUNY eMall and CUNY’s Promotional website.
• Soley responsible for the full lifecycle of each website’s development which consisted of designing layouts,
creating graphics, determining functional and navigational structure as well as coding, implementing,
presenting and also maintaining all content.
• Conceptualized, wrote verbiage and designed new ad campaigns for Apple, Microsoft, Symantec and Gartner.
Campaigns consisted of Banners, Flyers, Newspaper ads, Web ads, Promotional emails, on Screen Displays
and Cutouts, which were distributed and displayed throughout all 22 CUNY college campuses, as well as trade shows.
• Supervised the entire production stages, which included strategic planning, creating budget proposals,
corresponding with Vendor creative & legal departments as well as organizing the printing and distribution of
all promotional materials.
• Delegated workflow and supervised the CUNY/CIS communications division on many high priority University wide projects.
Created corporate identity materials for the University encompassing Logo Designs, Power Point
Presentations, XML generated Flash presentations and employee handbooks.
• Developed and a new in-house print shop in it's entirety and oversaw the outsourcing of printing to maximize
the budget.
